Viceroy Central Park is launching a new Weekend Wellness initiative for spring, promoting mental and physical wellbeing in The Big Apple.
The hotel has teamed-up with Fit Tours NYC, specialists in Central Park fitness tours and MNDFL, the go-to destination for meditation and relaxation in the city, offering guests a perfectly balanced weekend break.
Guests can kick-start the weekend with a 60-minute Fit Tour around Central Park, taking in the sights while releasing endorphins, choosing from the following options:
- A five kilometre run following the winding paths and rolling hills past many of the park’s most iconic sights.
- Central Park core tour, a sight running tour that integrates exercises focusing on core strength, balance and flexibility, taking in the Bow Bridge, the Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis Reservoir, Belvedere Castle and more.
- A Sunrise Yoga Walk, combining brisk walking with restorative yoga poses.
All tours are led by certified fitness professionals through courses designed by licensed New York sightseeing guides.
Balance the hustle and bustle of a weekend in New York with a meditation session at MNDFL’s new state-of-the-art studio on 60th Street on the Upper East Side, choosing from one of the following themed classes; MNDFL1 101, Breath, Intention, Sound, Sleep, Body, Emotions, Movement, Heart and Energy.
The classes last 30, 45 and 60 minutes and are taught by certified expert teachers in a variety of meditation traditions.
