Father and son die after going out for smoke in Brooklyn

A father and son died early Sunday in Brooklyn after telling their wives they were going out for a smoke — and never returning, police said.

The two men had been eating inside a building on 27th St. near Fourth Ave. in Greenwood when they excused themselves about 3 a.m.

Their wives got worried when they didn’t return and went outside to look for the men, who have not been publicly identified. They found the pair unconscious on the street in front of the building, according to cops.

EMS arrived and administered Narcan, an antidote that can reverse an opioid overdose, and rushed them both to Lutheran Hospital.
