Bike-riding gunman seen in video before West Village shooting

Cops on Sunday released surveillance footage of the man believed to be the shooter riding a bicycle who opened fire and wounded four men outside a West Village deli.

The victims were standing on the sidewalk outside the High End Deli on 14th St. near 8th Ave. when the gunman pedaled by, hopped off his bike and began blasting about 3:30 a.m. Saturday.

Surveillance video, taken at Ipanema Bar NYC, a Brazilian-styled drinkery on 14th St. just a few hundred feet east of the crime scene, shows the man dancing with a woman inside the club thirty minutes before the shooting.

The suspect also did a wardrobe change before the shooting, police said. Video stills show that when he opened fire minutes later he wore a black hooded jacket and white hat.
